About Todd

Customer-service focused

With more than 30 years of HVAC experience, owner Todd Finley started as a commercial HVAC technician with the Trammell Crow Company in 1992.  Working with commercial clients such as Comerica Bank throughout Texas, Todd was responsible for the installation and repair of  commercial HVAC systems. 


Todd continued to serve commercial clients, while training on residential heating and cooling installation and repair. In 1997, he began a side business for residential HVAC.  As Trammel Crowe was purchased by CBRE,  Todd’s side business continued to grow, and in 2004, Todd created Finley Innovations DBA Kool Koncepts, and has been serving North Texas ever since. 


Since the beginning, Kool Koncepts has had several trucks and a dedicated installation crew. They have continued to concentrate on service and repair and try to stray from recommending the arbitrary complete new system sales pitch.
